What is live today
This website collects waitlist registrations. The teammate service is in development. Joining the waitlist does not connect your Google account or give us access to your emails. The Google data sections below describe how the service will work when you choose to connect it. We will keep this policy and the consent screen aligned with the features actually available.
The waitlist and website
We store the email address you give us, the page or source you joined from, your registration time and your place in the queue. We use these to manage early access, the founding offer and launch updates. We do not sell your email or use it for unrelated advertising.
To limit automated sign-ups, we temporarily store a hash of your IP address together with a short time window and request count. Rate-limit entries expire from the active table after at most twenty minutes, with clean-up on the next valid request. Cloudflare hosts the site and database and may process request metadata for delivery and security under its own policies. The site uses local storage only to remember your theme preference. We do not currently use advertising cookies or third-party analytics.
When you connect Google
Google sign-in provides your basic profile, email address and account identifier so we can recognise your account. Connecting Gmail or Google Calendar is a separate, optional step. We request only the permissions needed for the features you choose and explain them before you authorise access.
For Gmail, a connected teammate may access message content, subjects, sender and recipient details, timestamps, labels and attachments needed for your task. It uses this information to triage and search mail, identify recurring bills, summarise messages, prepare drafts, archive or label mail, and send or reply when you have allowed it. Permanent deletion requires your approval. Every send and reply requires approval during a teammate's first seven days.
For Google Calendar, a connected teammate may read calendar and event information, including event titles, times, attendees and descriptions, and create or update events you ask it to manage. These permissions support scheduling, reminders and travel plans. We do not request permissions for future features before they are needed.
How Google data is processed and stored
Relevant Google data may be processed by our service and contracted model and hosting providers only to deliver the user-facing task you requested. This can include sending the necessary message or event content to a model provider to produce a summary, draft or action. We minimise the data sent and require providers to protect it and use it only to provide the service. We do not permit its use to train or improve general-purpose AI or machine learning models.
Connection tokens are held in an access-controlled vault outside the teammate's computer. The service stores the task history, relevant memory, drafts and action receipts needed to continue your work. We protect data in transit using HTTPS and use encryption at rest, scoped access and separate teammate working environments. No system can promise absolute security. These service controls are being implemented; their test status is published on our security page.
Google's Limited Use requirements
Proxima's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
We use Google user data only to provide or improve the user-facing features you choose. We do not sell it, use it for advertising, provide it to data brokers, use it for creditworthiness or lending decisions, or use it to develop, improve or train generalised AI or machine learning models. Transfers are limited to what is necessary to provide those features, protect security, comply with applicable law, or complete a business transfer with your explicit prior consent.
People do not read your Google user data except with your affirmative agreement for specific material, when needed to investigate abuse or a security incident, to comply with applicable law, or where data has been aggregated and anonymised for internal operations as permitted by the policy.
Your controls and retention
You can revoke Google access at any time in your Google account connections, and disconnect a teammate in the service. Revocation stops future access; it does not itself erase data already held by the service or undo changes made in Gmail or Calendar.
You can request a copy, correction or deletion of your data by emailing hello@hireproxima.com from your registered address. We may ask for enough information to verify the request. Deleting a teammate removes its active working data and access. Account deletion removes the account's active service data within thirty days. Encrypted backups may retain deleted data for up to ninety days before expiry, with access restricted to recovery. We may retain records where the law requires it or where necessary to resolve a dispute, and will explain any exception.
We keep waitlist information until launch and early-access communications are complete, or until you ask to leave. To leave, email hello@hireproxima.com. We will remove your active waitlist record within thirty days. Founding numbers are not reassigned.
Where data is handled
The planned service is hosted in the United States. Our hosting, database, email and model providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Joining from Australia or elsewhere may involve overseas processing. We choose providers with appropriate safeguards and limit their access to the work they perform for us.
Changes and questions
